Hi. If this is the Alexander Jack born 25th October 1856 to David and Margaret Jack who were married on 30 Sep 1853 we are related because Alexander's youngest brother David born 14 Sep 1871 was my Great Grandfather. Hello from a cousin in Australia.

Hi! I think we might be related. Could you please confirm that Alexander and Jessie Jack had a daugher Margaret? According to my research Margaret Jack of 8 George St, Avoch, was my great grandmother and married my great grandfather, John George Morrison Noble, a master sailmaker, on 5 January 1904 in Avoch at the Congregational Church. The marriage certificate lists Alesander (?) Jack - Fisherman and Jessie Jack nee Patience as Margaret's parents. My grandfather was born to them on 18 January 1908 and was also named John George Morrison Noble. He was one of their five children. I do not have a date of birth for Margaret but believe she died on 12 October 1962. Would love to hear from you.

Hi Bev - yes we are definately related - your gt grandmother Margaret and my gt grandmother Janet were sisters (there were 2 other sisters and a brother) - if you look under my name on this website you will see photo's of Margaret and John Noble with their children (some of which moved to South Africa), there is also my grandparents wedding photo with Peggy Noble (your grandfathers sister) as bridesmaid. Our gt gt grandparents are buried in Avoch new cemetary - I will email you direct with other information if you wish.
