Hi My mother's name was Annie Ross. Her family came from Avoch and I would love to know if there are still any Ross's in Avoch. Her father's name was Hugh Ross.

Yes there are some of the Ross family still live in Avoch.If you want to research your family the best site is a Government site called scotlandspeople which has has all available records going back to 1500. If you have Facebook go to 'Avoch past and present' and post all the info you have and see what happens.
