Dividing the Spoil, Avoch beach.

An early morning scene of the Avoch fishermen and women with their murlicks, must be at least a century old.

This faded hand-coloured postcard gives us an amazing glimpse of our forebears.

Does anyone know who the people are? I see two are marked with crosses

The crosses were already there before I had the postcard scanned, but I will try to get some of the names which were known and listed.
The little boy in red is the father of my good friend George Brodie in James Street, and the woman in the white apron is George's granny.
