Well thats a building probably no longer there, good on you Robin, Dramatic photo, I walked past that building many times, going to the Braehead or MacKenzie Place, I was Billy Gill's Aprent early sixties, down the Dock, great times then and great People. Keep it going.

Stayed in the school as Govan High School summer camp early July 1958, hospitality of Avoch people was great, especially the local teenagers who mixed well joining our fun with table tennis etc in the old tin annex at the corner of Mackenzie Place, football was played down beside a pond as I remember ending up in it, also a dance in the church hall, it was a memorable holiday and a few of the names from the school photos of that time seem familiar. I have returned on a couple of occasions doing a trip down memory lane.
